Born in 1921 in Baku, Azerbaijan;

1939 � Graduated from Azerbaijan State Painting School in Baku;

1949 � Graduated from V.I. Surikov�s Moscow State Academic Art Institute;

Honorary Artist of the Soviet Republic of Azerbaijan;

Successfully combined creative and educational activity;

Painting works of Abdul Khalig had been exhibited in Georgia, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Czechoslovakia, Egypt, Syria, Livan and other countries;

Abdul Khalig�s works are being kept in private collections and museums of Baku, Moscow and Istanbul;

Abdul Khalig passed away in 1988 in Baku.
