1946 – Graduated from A. Azimzadeh State Art College in Baku

1953 – Graduated from I.E. Repin Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture

1958-1969 – Member of Board of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan

1967-1969 – Elected three times as a Deputy of Baku City Council

1970-2000 – Taught at the Azerbaijan State University of Art and Culture, Professor of the Art Department

1970 – Awarded the Silver Order of “????” (all-Russian Exhibition Centre)

1969 – Awarded the title of Honored Artist of Azerbaijan

Nadir Gasimov�s artworks are kept in museums and private collections in Azerbaijan, UIC countries, the USA, France, Germany, Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.

Nadir Gasimov died on March 10, 2000 in Baku.
