Eyyub Mammadov
Born January 24, 1921 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
1936-1941 – Studied at Azerbaijan State Art College in Baku
1942-1945 – Fought against Nazi occupation during World War II until the Battle of Berlin
1946 – Became a member of the Artists Union of USSR
1949 – Member of the Moscow Artists Union
1952 � Graduated from the Faculty of Easel Painting, V.I Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute
1952-1976 – Taught at A. Azimzadeh State Art College
1959 – Order of Mark of Dignity
1961-1976 – Director of A. Azimzadeh State Art College
1963 – Honorary Art Worker of Azerbaijan
1970 – Anniversary medal �For Valorous Work� on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin
1981 – Medal of Labor Veteran
Eyyub Mammadov�s works are in museums, galleries and private collections in Azerbaijan. Eyyub Mammadov died in Baku on August 27, 1994.
