Kamal Ahmad
Born in February 28, 1940 in Agdam, Azerbaijan
1958-1963 – Studied at A. Azimzadeh State Art College in Baku
1966 – Participated in an exhibition for the first time
1989 – Grand prix winner at the biannual exhibition of the Caspian States held in Baku
1992 – Awarded the title of Honorary Artist of Azerbaijan for his contribution of a new vision to the visual arts of Azerbaijan.
The artist�s works are in the collections of the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan, Baku; Azerbaijan State Picture Gallery, Baku; State Museum of Oriental Art, Moscow, Russia; and in other galleries and private collections around the world.
Kamal Ahmad died in Baku in 1994.
