Khalida Safarova
Born August 25, 1926 in Gandja, Azerbaijan.
1944 � Graduated from A. Azimzade State Art College in Baku;
1955 � Graduated from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, Arts Faculty, Moscow;
1947 � First joint exhibition with M. Taghiyev, Baku;
1977 � Awarded with the title of Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR;
1989 � Awarded with the title of People�s Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR.
The works of Khalida Safarova have been exhibited in Russia, Romania, Hungary, Poland, Algeria, Turkey and Israel and others.
Khalida Safarova passed away in Baku on December 23, 2005.
