Artworks by Shamo Abasov are in the National Art Museum of Azerbaijan, Baku; Azerbaijan State Picture Gallery, Baku; Russian Ministry of Culture, Moscow; International Confederation of Artists, Moscow; Stieglitz Museum of Applied Arts, Saint Petersburg; International Museum of Ceramics, Bechyne, Czech Republic; the Azerbaijan Embassy in the USA; and in international private collections.
The artist passed away on May 7, 2014 in Baku.
