Born June 9, 1960 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

1975-1979 � Studied at A. Azimzade State Art College in Baku;

1979-1984 � Studied at the Faculty of Arts and Graphic Arts of V.I.Lenin�s (currently Tusi�s) Azerbaijan Teachers Training Institute;

1985 � Member of the youth department of the Artists Union of Azerbaijan;

1988-1991 � Holder of a scholarship from the USSR Academy of Arts as representative of the Youth Union of Artists of Azerbaijan;

1992 � Exhibition, Cologne, Germany;

1992-1998 � Participated on the international symposiums in Austria, Germany, Azerbaijan;

1997 � Member of the Artists Union of Azerbaijan Contributed to establishment of the Labyrinth group;

1998-1999 � With a group of artists participated in environmental project Land ART;

2000 � Received Humay award as part of the Labyrinth group;

2000-2004 � Painted St. Apostle Bartholomew Temple;

Ujal Haqverdiyev passed away in Baku on December 18, 2004.
